Wouldn't be difficult to make tools from only wood,rope, and some stone? Well believe it or not Egyptians made all their tools with those materials. They made the rope from discusting dead grass, they also made shoes from dead grass, but thats another story. Anyways, the rope held some of the tools together like......the shadoof. Ok what is the deal with that name?!? I mean come on its like calling whoever found it a doof! Ok maybe not but still! Back to the subject. Nails were made of stone that they found in the minning feild. They got the wood from trees along the Nile or got it with a trade.
I've always wonderd about that name too, hmm mabey it was the guys last name.
